I was introduced to n8n almost five years ago and have been building with it ever since. My journey didn't exactly start on a high note, I had a rough start due to a poor initial introduction. But once I understood the basics, I was hooked.
Coming from a BI and Data Engineering background, I was amazed by how seamlessly those logic-heavy skills transferred to n8n. It allowed me to build complex solutions with a speed and efficiency I hadn’t experienced before.
What started as implementing n8n at an agency eventually gave me the confidence to go solo. I spent three years as a freelancer, helping companies worldwide implement n8n as they discovered the power of the platform. This period was an incredible deep dive into diverse use cases and industries.
Last year, I teamed up with a former colleague to launch DataFix. What started as a duo has quickly grown into a team of four to keep up with the demand, and we’re still expanding. Based near Eindhoven, The Netherlands, we operate from an office where we love to host small get-togethers. Our goal is to start hosting larger events in Eindhoven soon, creating a hub for the local n8n community to connect, share, and grow together.
